Guanpu Philharmonic

Guanpu Philharmonic is the orchestra and choir of Guanpu Elementary School in Hsinchu, Taiwan. Our students train in instrumental skills, ensemble musicianship and choral singing, and perform in concerts, community events and exchanges with other schools.

We take part in the Hsinchu City Music Competition and the National Student Music Competition. We have visited Higashi-Narashino Elementary School in Chiba, Japan, for joint rehearsals, sectional lessons, a concert, and regular classes with Japanese students.

We welcome exchanges with young musicians and schools around the world. Contact us at gppsso@gpps.hc.edu.tw.
